To Run This Tool Press Win + R and Type mdsched.exe and click on ok this will open the memory diagnostic tool. The tool offers 2 options to start the diagnostic process, either Restart now and check for problems, or do so the next time when starting your computer.

If you choose to restart your computer and run the tool immediately, make sure that you save your work and close all of your running programs.


Here press F1 to Use the Advanced options for running the Memory Diagnostics Tool

1. Test mix. Choose what type of test you want to run: Basic, Standard, or Extended. The choices are described in the tool.

2. Cache. Choose the cache setting you want for each test: Default, On, or Off.

3. Press count. Type the number of times you want to repeat the test.

Press F10 to start the test.
Wait for several minutes to be completed the process. Sometimes, It may take more time than normal.
• After completing diagnosing memory problems, Your PC will be restarted and boot up normally.

How to Find Memory Diagnostic Test Results

Open Event Viewer, right-click System under Windows Logs category and choose Filter Current Log. Then select Memory Diagnostics Results as the Event sources in Filter Current Log dialog window, and click OK.

Double-click the event log entry to see the details whether there are any errors detected.
